Barry Copeland and Bob Hobson founded Prestige Audio in 1984 and have been creating award-winning home cinema installations ever since. Throughout the early years Barry and Bob pioneered the `multi room’ concept that they knew would one day become the `norm’, often engineering solutions in-house as they waited for the world to catch up; it’s this history and experience that gives Prestige Audio a clear advantage in the techniques and resources needed to deliver the complex systems needed in a modern home.
Today Prestige Audio has expanded with branches in Surrey, London and Manchester, with a team of over 24 home cinema installers. This team have won numerous independent awards and commissions in landmark buildings such as the Hilton/Beetham Tower in Manchester, and St Pancras Chambers, London. A high proportion of our projects are referred and repeat commissions from the many satisfied clients who have shown their trust in our unique blend of customer care, high quality workmanship and our ability to deliver.
Our client base lists many VIPs and A list celebrities, high profile companies such as McLaren and Aston Martin, and members of the Middle Eastern and British Royal families. We work with a large number of clients including private individuals, architects, property developers, builders and other related contractors and have carried out installations in landmark buildings such as the Hilton/Beetham Tower in Manchester and high profile hotels in Knightsbridge. As well as many VIP’s and celebrities, our client base includes McLaren, Aston Martin and Middle Eastern and British Royal families.
